Kaflydoscope
Made for Weekly Game Jam 112. Theme: "color the world".
Submission was around half a day late.
Gameplay reflections:
- Balance could be improved. Staying on one colour shouldn't be effective, but it is. The projectile speeds and movement speeds also need tweaking - I found myself chasing projectiles quite often.
- The player should see their score after they lose.
- Feedback for healing, deflecting and taking damage should be clearer.
- Better controls needed.

Really nice art! I like the idea, but had trouble understanding what was happening at any given moment. It was hard to keep track of what was good to hit and bad.
Some SFX or music would really kick up the presentation, especially if you could get something to compliment the excellent atmospheric artwork.
Good submission! :)
Thanks! I've just updated the landing screen to better explain the controls but I definitely agree that the game is confusing regardless. And yeah, the sound is unfortunately missing.
